- “very polished”
- “well thought out”
- “very fun game”
- “Doodle Jump on steroids”
- “really slick and well done”
- “I’m a Doodle Jump fan but right now this is getting way more play and I’ve kind of left Doodle Jump in the dust”
Be sure to listen to the whole show, but if you want to skip right to the Mega Jump review then it starts during minute 45.
The ink just never stops spilling for Addicus and Addicus HD, our iPhone-turned-iPad number puzzle game. It just got a new review. Trevor Sheridan of AppAdvice writes:
“The iPhone version is a great game that is packed with fast paced fun that will no doubt having you play over and over. It’s super easy to play with both thumbs tapping on mushrooms on the respective half of the screen. Addicus is should buy for $1.99, and higher if you want some brain training math fun.”
Mega Jump is certainly not suffering from lack of attention these days as much digital ink is being spilled to heap praise upon it. This latest review comes from iPhoneinCanada.ca, which suits us well since we’re a Toronto-based shop:
“Mega Jump is a great little game to pass some time. In my experience, the game is perfect for long waiting lines as game play delivers just enough variety to keep you playing.”
The great reviews keep pouring in for Mega Jump. This latest one is from SlapApp.com, who awarded it a perfect 5/5 rating. Money quote:
“Unlimited coins, awesome powerups, and a little orange dude. Only one place to find it. Mega Jump. The game was released a few days ago and it looks to be a great challenge to Doodle Jump. Many have tried and failed but this game has style. It has power-ups. It’s the one. And only Get Set Games could make it.”
“The graphics are … the best combination possible with the cartoon eye bulging of the character to the animations that will most undoubtedly put a toothy grin on your face.”
“Think of a Doodle Jump, but so much more!”
“You’ll be amazed with how long you’re going to be playing! Cheap price, but rich gameplay!”
Mega Jump continues to build steam. It has just received its first official review and it’s a great one. From the sounds of it, Trevor Sheridan of AppAdvice had as much fun playing Mega Jump as we had making it. He writes:
“From playing this game way longer than I originally set out to do I found this to be the most addictive game in all the various casual endless games I’ve reviewed.”
“From the first second you play this game you’ll be hooked.”
“This is one of the best casual endless games out there.”
The layout and design of the app looks sharp, polished and cleanly organized. Coupled with its mellow but animated background music makes for an experience that is pleasing on both the eyes and ears.
Our happy mushroom-based number adding puzzle game Addicus has received another positive review, this time from The App Spotter blog.
The clock keeps your fingers popping and brain thinking quickly. Bottom line, this exercises your brain and keeps you sharp…
The App Spotter gave Addicus 4.5 stars out of 5.
Addicus received its most favourable review yet from AppBoy today. Hillel Fuld awarded it a perfect score of 5 out of 5 and declared that it is “among my top ten favorite games on the iPhone platform”. Here’s my favourite quote because I can relate:
I know I have used the word “addictive” to describe a few games, but I showed this game to my wife just yesterday, and literally had to grab the iPod out of her hand after four games of Addicus.
- “a great game for both kids and adults.”
- “The graphics are great and very cartoonish.”
- “be careful because it is very addicting”
