Addicus HD Confirmed for iPad, Will Be Available on Day 1

We are happy to confirm that Addicus HD will be available for the iPad on the day that it launches: this coming Saturday, April 3.

Addicus HD is a super-sized version of the number-laden mushroom-popping puzzle game that you know and love on the iPhone and iPod Touch. It has everything that you loved about Addicus, but now you can experience it as a table-top game or in your lap. We have been working tirelessly in an effort to grow bigger, jigglier mushrooms that grow on an even more expansive terrain and we think we have reached a perfect balance.

Addicus Gets Another Positive Review

Our happy mushroom-based number adding puzzle game Addicus has received another positive review, this time from The App Spotter blog.

The clock keeps your fingers popping and brain thinking quickly. Bottom line, this exercises your brain and keeps you sharp…

The App Spotter gave Addicus 4.5 stars out of 5.

Addicus received its most favourable review yet from AppBoy today. Hillel Fuld awarded it a perfect score of 5 out of 5 and declared that it is “among my top ten favorite games on the iPhone platform”. Here’s my favourite quote because I can relate:

I know I have used the word “addictive” to describe a few games, but I showed this game to my wife just yesterday, and literally had to grab the iPod out of her hand after four games of Addicus.

The graphics are not only cute (everything bounces), but eye-catching. The music and sound effects are also cute, but if you’re the type who needs silence to do math, you might want to turn them off. Addicus makes math fun–which hasn’t happened since maybe second grade–and it’s bouncy, colorful, and challenging, so it’s well worth a download. It’ll come in handy the next time a dinner bill needs to be split.
