Mega Jump Update 14 Preview: 30 Brand New Challenges, See Your Progress & Get Shrinkified!
The new Updates keep on rolling with Update 14 for iOS, which will include a staggering 30 brand new challenges to take on! Swim through seas of stars, wind your way along trails of blue coins and take on devious enemies and the always tricky Trickster coins who, if they had sleeves, would have even more tricks up them! Tricky!
That Shrinking Feeling
But watch out! There’s a new danger in the mix! In a puff of green vapor the Shrinkify potion will shrink you down to a quarter of your normal size! Coins and enemies will loom over you, and you’ll have to aim carefully so you don’t fall through the gaps! It might not be all bad though – maybe there are places only tiny monsters can reach?

Speaking of reaching new places – by popular request we’ve added a progress meter on the pause screen that can show you how far you need to go to reach the next stage, so no more guessing!

Mega Jump Lucky Update 13 Now Available – Again!
Update 13 is now ready to roll… Again! After running into a few problems with “lucky” Update 13, we pulled it back into the garage for some retooling. Many late nights and buckets of coffee later, and Update 13 is now ready to hit the streets. Here’s what’s new:
New Character: Pepper!
- Who says penguins can’t fly? Pepper just wants to stretch her wings and reach higher than any penguin has before!
- You asked for it: we made this character based on another very successful Facebook poll!
Backup All of Your Progress to OpenFeint!
- Thanks to some fantastic advances from OpenFeint, we’re now able to backup your progress, unlocked items and Mega Points to your OpenFeint account!
- If you haven’t already created an OpenFeint account, do it now in the settings menu!
- Never lose your progress again!
Thanks for your patience and our apologies to anyone that was affected by the bug in the previous version of the update.

Currently working to resolve issues with Update 13
Many of you have experienced issues installing our latest update from the App Store; update 13. In some cases this has resulted in people losing many of their hard earned Mega Points. This is absolutely not what we want to happen to our players and we have been contacted by several of you already to address those issues.
Due to the severity of these issues we have temporarily removed Mega Jump from the App Store. We are working to resolve things quickly and hope to have Mega Jump back on the App Store shortly.
If you have experienced any loss of your purchase of Mega Points, power-ups, characters, etc. as a result of installing update 13 please let us know so we can work with you to correct those issues.

Ok, Ok, We Admit It…
As some of you figured out, yesterdays “announcement” about “Super Easy” and “Ultra Hard” modes – one mode that was impossible to lose and another that was impossible to win – was an April Fools joke. It was there all along in the second to last line “…April Follow Our Ongoing Latest Stories…”, but don’t worry if you got excited about the idea – we’ve got some even better news coming for Update 14, so look out for a real sneak peek next week! Mega Jump is going to get some fantastic new content which we’re sure you’re going to love.
Update 14 Sneak Peak: Ultra Hard and Super Easy Modes!
We’re keeping the Updates rolling! Update 13 is just around the corner, with Pepper the Penguin, the ability to store all of your progress so you’ll never lose it, and a ton of speed-enhancing tweaks, but we’re not done yet!
Shortly after Update 13, we’re bringing a brand new set of challenges to Mega Jump! Because you asked for it, we’re proud to present Ultra Hard and Super Easy stages!
Super Easy Stages
Can’t get past Stage 1? Tired of endlessly playing the same stage over and over again? Do you dream of an endless green forest and the tantalizing glimpse of the city beyond that you can never seem to reach? Well, try out the Super Easy stages!
Right from the get-go you’ll be practically handed coins by the bucket-full. Skill and luck don’t really come into it – you’ll have a harder time avoiding coins and powerups than trying to stay airborne! And with rows and rows of bounce blocks to keep you safe, up is the only option! Not only that, but if by some disastrous fluke you find yourself falling – don’t worry, the Mega Trampoline is there to cushion your fall and send you hurtling back into the fields of gold again.
If you’d rather watch than play, Super Easy mode is for you – just sit back, relax, put your hands behind your head, and let the Mega Points roll in!

Ultra Hard Stages
Beat all 20 Stages? Unlocked all the powerups and characters? Need a new challenge? Well get ready for pain with the Ultra Hard stages!
Take on wall after wall of Spike Blocks and Anvils, designed with one goal in mind – your dismal failure. Get used to being flung into an unforgiving fortress of spikes when you spring off a bounce block while you flail your arms around, fruitlessly trying to save yourself from certain doom.
Heck, even the coins are out to get you! That’s right, the only coins in the Ultra Hard stages are Trickster coins! Catch ‘em if you can! Also, look out for the Anti-Magnet – if you thought spike blocks were bad enough just sitting there waiting to be plowed into, try dodging them when they come after you like swarm of armored, block-shaped hornets!
You may as well give up before you start, unless you enjoy seeing your hopes and dreams disappear in a shower of coins amongst rows of merciless, unforgiving skewers. Good luck!

Mega Jump Update 13 is approaching fast! We’re putting the final touches on it now and getting it ready for a submission to Apple any day now.
Based on another very successful Facebook poll, I’d like to introduce you to Pepper the Penguin, our most recent addition to the Mega Jump line-up. Just because penguins can’t fly doesn’t mean Pepper is grounded, she soars like the best of them!
Thanks to some fantastic advances from OpenFeint, we’re now able to back-up your progress and items to your OpenFeint account! Make sure you take the time to make an account – in addition to being able to save your stuff, you can also compete in leaderboards, earn achievements, make friends and take advantage of a bunch of other great features.
We’ve also added some performance improvements and bug fixes to help you get the best experience on all devices!

We are incredibly happy to announce another fantastic update for Mega Jump Android is available right now from the Android Market! Check out the great new features:
Power-ups Can Be Upgraded!
- You can now upgrade each power-up from Turbo to Super to Mega!
- The Power Shield can be upgraded to not only protect you, but also go on the offensive! Upgrading the Power Shield makes it fire thunderbolts at enemies and obstacles in the game and also adds a score multiplier!
- The Lucky Blast can be upgraded to increase its reach! If you upgrade it enough, the blast will follow you, paving your way with x5 coins and red stars!
- The Anti Gravity Boots are all about speed! The more you upgrade them, the faster you run up the walls. As you upgrade the boots, they will begin to repel and destroy enemies and obstacles!
- The Magnet is all about coin collecting! The more you upgrade it, the more coins you will be able to collect! If you thought the Super Magnet was powerful, wait until you see the Mega Magnet!
