The last time we updated you on how many times Mega Jump had been downloaded was back in December 2011, when Mega Jump reached the heady heights of 19 million downloads. Well, even though Mega Jump is a 2 year old, non-retina (yet!), non-universal (yet!), non-iPhone 5 (yet!) game that’s over two years old, people seem to still want a piece of Redford’s jumping antics.
Mega Jump is now available on the App Store, Google Play and Amazon Appstore, and has been downloaded an incredible 35 million times! As always, we’ve got much more planned for Mega Jump, and 2013 will be a very special year indeed for our Little Red Monster.
Thanks to all our fans and keep jumping!

Mega Run was released last week in Canada (where Get Set Games is from!) and has shot to #1 on the App Store!
Not So Stealthy
We tried to do a stealth launch in Canada to make sure that everything was fine before the Worldwide launch on May 30th (mark your calendar!). Along the way, Mega Run got picked by Apple as an Editors Choice choice game and has shot to #1 on the iPad charts, and #3 on the iPhone charts!
What People Are Saying
“Fun game, reminds me of Mario, I like all the power ups. Very addictive ”
– 2sweet for words
“Got this game because i love platformers…the only problem is i cant stop friggin playing the damn game haha”
“This app is so fun and addictive to play, especially on the iPad. I give this app a two thumbs up.”

“How is this game free? It’s amazing! Excellent graphics, fun levels, and some legitimate challenge.”
We’ve had a fantastic response so far and people are loving Mega Run!
We have had some issues reported by players (which is why we did the “soft-launch”), and we’re submitting a patch to Apple so those problems will be fixed before or soon after the worldwide launch on May 30th!
In the meantime, if you live in Canada and don’t have Mega Run yet, go grab it! Oh Canada! We love ya!
That’s right! You can play the iPhone version of Mega Jump for a chance to get your name in the Guinness World Records! Until the end of this weekend, join in the Kiip swarm event to try for a chance to get the highest score in Mega Jump. From the Guinness World Records site:
The mobile gaming challenge winner will not only get their name in the next Guinness World Records 2013 Gamers Edition (published in January 2013), but will also receive their own exclusive, personalized certificate officially recognising their feat.
If you think you’ve got what it takes, you’ve still got plenty of time to enter and give it a shot, so get jumping!
Mark your calendars, cancel your plans and take the day off work – Mega Run is hitting the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch on May 30th!
In Mega Run – Redford’s Adventure, you’ll once again take on the role of Redford the adorable woodland-dwelling monster, as he dashes across beautifully rendered worlds to rescue his lost friends and recover the stolen Forest Gems.
AndroidPIT wrote up a great review and awarded Mega Jump a “Very Good” 4-star rating, which we’re happy to accept!
Mega Jump is a fun game that I would recommend in a heart beat. The graphics, the fast paced action and gameplay and the addictive factor sold it to me. - Jay O.
Mega Jump for Android has had almost 3 million downloads and has a 4 1/2 star rating on Google Play.
We’ve got some great stuff coming for Android including brand new worlds and updates to support more devices, so look out for more news soon!
If you’re anything like us, you’ve always dreamed of playing a video game as a refrigerator. Thanks to Mega Jump, you’ve finally got your chance!
What started as an April Fool’s Day joke has become all too real. We are very happy to introduce the newest member of the Mega Jump family – Redfridge! Why Redfridge you ask? Well, it’s red. It’s a fridge. It’s pretty self-explanatory.
You may also be interested to know that Redfridge is a nearly one-to-one replica of the actual fridge we store food and drink in at the Get Set Games office.
With just a short while to go until the launch of Mega Run, we’ve been showing the beta version to anyone we can get our paws on. Luckily we were able to bump into Jared Nelson from Touch Arcade at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco.
We had a fantastic time at GDC this year showing off Mega Run, and it was great to finally get feedback from players “in the wild”.
Jared lent us some of his time at our GDCPlay booth to check out the still-in-progress game, bugs and all, and he seems to like what he saw! Here’s what Jared had to say in his latest Mega Run preview post:
“This isn’t just any boring, old auto-runner. Instead it’s literally bursting with items, power-ups, and enemies, not to mention its colorful visuals and loads of personality.
Plus, it has incredibly well-designed levels with multiple pathways and tons of secrets to discover. It really is something you need to see in motion to appreciate.”
Jared Nelson – Touch Arcade
Thanks to Jared for taking the time to check out Mega Run, and we’ll have more to show in the coming weeks as we get closer to launch! Read more on Touch Arcade!
