The reviews are coming in, and Monsters, Inc. Run is winning people over! Slide To Play says Monsters, Inc. Run is “a clever, gorgeous platformer that rekindles our love for the world of Monsters, Inc.” Apple ‘N’ Apps calls the game “surprisingly deep“, while Modojo says “Not only does it offer impossible-to-resist gameplay, but Disney and Get Set Games also did a phenomenal job taking the Mega Run formula and applying it to a beloved film. A Terrific Team-Up

Get Set Games in partnership with Disney is very proud to announce Monsters, Inc. Run, available now on the App Store! Join Mike, Sulley, and other Monsters, Inc. duos on their epic adventure to save Boo!

Run, jump, and power your way through this monstrously fun action game! Journey through the city of Monstropolis with famous scare teams from Monsters, Inc., and find a way to rescue Boo.

In Monsters, Inc. Run, you’ll play as a Scare Team, tagging out between your Scarer and Scare Assistant to get to hard to reach places, so you’ll need to pick the right monster at the right time to find all of Boo’s lost things! Use the CDA-supplied REMOVR, the MOR Ray, the AIR Pack and the gelatinous GUNCC shooter to take on Randall’s cronies and save Boo!

“I’m not even breaking a sweat!”

Monsters, Inc. Run also features a hair-raising Endless Mode that has you hurtling along at a breathtaking pace. See how long you can last, and make your SAVE Device count! Try and make it onto the worldwide leaderboards!

“Mike Wazowski!”

We had a blast working with Disney and Pixar on this project, and we’re very proud of what we’ve created. We’re huge fans of Mike Wazowski and and James P. “Sulley” Sullivan, and it’s been an honor to work with these fine (and furry) monsters. We hope we’ve done them justice, and we think you’ll love what’s in store in Monsters, Inc. Run.

Mega Run Update 4 Out Now!

Dec 11, 2012   //   by Nick Coombe   //   Uncategorized  //  2 Comments

It’s shaping up to be a HUGE holiday season from Get Set Games, with two beefy updates for Mega Run and Mega Jump, and much more to come!

iPhone 5? iPhone 5!

Yes that’s right, Mega Run now takes full advantage of the glorious widescreen of the iPhone 5!

Mega Run really shines with the wider view, and iPhone 5 players might even get a slight advantage from seeing what’s coming up just a little bit sooner!

On iCloud 9

Mega Run has been given a big overhaul to fully support iCloud syncing! Get Set had a great run with Openfeint, which we have used right from our very first game, Addicus, and was instrumental in helping to promote Mega Jump when it first launched. Sadly, Openfeint will be closing down on December 14th, and will be no more.

Get Set would like to extend a big thank-you to everyone on the Openfeint team that helped get us to where we are today, and diligently worked with us over the years to deliver great stuff for our awesome players! You guys made a big difference to Get Set!

iCloud support in Mega Run is seamless. Just make sure you’re signed in to iCloud and it will keep all your progress safe!

Keeping Bugs on the Run

We’ve also done a lot of work under the hood to stamp out a few bugs that we’d noticed some players were seeing, and the latest version of Mega Run is our most solid yet.

Some Fine Festive Friends

Since ’tis this season, the usual cast of characters are joined by Redford the Elf, Rudrolf the Rolfnosed Rolfdeer and, making a return for 2012, Bryan the space-faring snowman!

Mega Jump Update 18!

Dec 11, 2012   //   by Nick Coombe   //   Announcements  //  2 Comments

Mega Jump goes fourth! It’s been a long time coming, but we’ve added a fourth new world to Mega Jump on iPhone, and it just might be our best one yet! Update 18 adds a new world with 20 challenging stages, along with a few good fixes and some jolly holiday characters!

It’s a Matter of Time Travel

Eterna will transport you from an ancient dinosaur burial ground through long-forgotten ruins, past a medieval castle and over exploding volcanoes into the swirling vortex at the heart of the galaxy! It’s all in a day’s work for Redford, though…

Jumping on an iCloud

Mega Jump has also been updated to sync with iCloud, so your progress will be stored seamlessly as you play. We’ve also made a bushel of bug fixes so, like a trusty steed, Mega Jump is now our most reliable game ever. Solid.

‘Tis the Season to Mega Jump!

Coming along for the sleigh ride are three characters for the festive season – Redford the Elf, Rudrolf the Rolfnosed Rolfdeer and, making a return for 2012, Bryan the space-faring snowman! Look out for more festive cheer in the days to come!

Mega Jump Hits 35 Million!

Dec 11, 2012   //   by Nick Coombe   //   Uncategorized  //  No Comments

The last time we updated you on how many times Mega Jump had been downloaded was back in December 2011, when Mega Jump reached the heady heights of 19 million downloads. Well, even though Mega Jump is a 2 year old, non-retina (yet!), non-universal (yet!), non-iPhone 5 (yet!) game that’s over two years old, people seem to still want a piece of Redford’s jumping antics.

Mega Jump is now available on the App StoreGoogle Play and Amazon Appstore, and has been downloaded an incredible 35 million times! As always, we’ve got much more planned for Mega Jump, and 2013 will be a very special year indeed for our Little Red Monster.

Thanks to all our fans and keep jumping!
