Mega Jump Update 12 – Big Screen!

Mega Jump Update 12 has been submitted to Apple for approval! Sheldon the Turtle is our newest Mega Jump friend and he has joined us at your request through our Facebook poll. Sheldon’s bringing with him some exciting new features:

You can now play Mega Jump on your TV or iPad using another iOS device as a remote control. That’s right – Mega Jump is on the Big Screen! Connect your iPad or iPhone 4 using a TV out cable and use another iDevice to control the game from the comfort of your couch!

The Mega Jump User Interface has been greatly improved with easier navigation, prettier graphics and more info about your games. You can now also post your scores directly to Facebook and Twitter or email them to your friends right from the Game Over screen!

We’ve also added some major performance improvements to the entire game so everything should run better on all devices!

    We don’t know for sure, but hopefully in the next 2 weeks, if not sooner. It is up to Apple to approve the Update.

    You all removed one of the greatest features from the game and not I dont like it as much. When you get the sheild, you could hold your phone sideways and go throught the rows of anvils and make your way to more coins. Why did you take this out?

    The anvils are there to prevent cheating by just holding your phone sideways. We noticed that players were finding ways around this by using the shield and fireballs or other powerups to break through the anvils. To make the game more fair for people who want to get a high score without cheating we removed the coins and other items that used to appear after the anvils.

    It’s not cheating if your game allows for it. It’s smart.

    I’d have to agree that this isn’t technically cheating. It’s not like you can turn your phone sideways forever; you as a player have to know when you can do this, and when you should turn it back. I think it’s more of a strategy than a cheat. Plus, now that it has been removed, there’s practically no way anyone is gonna score as high as those who have taken advantage of this before (i.e. 1 billion points). Just saying :)

    why is it that after update 12 i experience constant spikes during the game if i were to play without wifi.

    We are aware of this problem and have already added a fix to update 13. Update 13 is currently being reviewed by Apple and should be available on the App Store soon! Sorry for the inconvenience.

    I want to play Megajump but i have Galaxy 3 and there always comes a screens that tells me not availible in your screen size or something like that will there be a update or not?
