Get Set Games Picked as Top 50 Developer by Pocket Gamer

Pocket Gamer has selected Get Set Games as one of the Top 50 mobile game developers of 2011!

It is truly an honor to be considered among the top developers on our platform – especially since we admire so many of the other studios that were selected.

Since Mega Jump was released in May 2010, we have been having a blast pushing out update after update to millions of players. As the article mentions, it wasn’t until we made the game freemium that it really took off. We are thrilled to offer Mega Jump to players for free. Thanks to all the Mega Jump players out there for telling your friends about the game and for your continued feedback and support!

In 2011, we’re planning to release more awesome games and more huge updates to Mega Jump. Stay tuned for more details coming soon!

Mega Jump’s twelfth update was just approved by Apple and it is now available for download on the App Store. Full text of the update log below:

Hey Mega Jumpers! Big news! 10 million people have now downloaded Mega Jump, making it one of the most popular iPhone/iPod games on Earth! This is entirely because of all of you who told your friends about this awesome game, so thank you for spreading the word! Your support and feedback has meant the world to us. Wow! The party just keeps going! Thanks to you, Mega Jump just crossed the 10 million download mark! With Update 12 for iPhone just around the corner, and our first update for Mega Jump Android available now, we’re sending the love right back, and we’ve got lots more up our sleeves! Mega Jump Android – Update 1!

We’re very pleased to announce that the first major update for Mega Jump Android has gone live and is available from the Android Marketplace right now! Check out all the new features:

- Two new characters have joined the game – Marty the Monkey and Biff the Beaver!

- You can now earn free MP just by downloading and installing other awesome applications! Tap the Earn Free MP button on the Title Screen to find out how!

- Five new wallpapers have been added to the store!

- Higher Quantities of MP For Sale! You can now buy larger amounts in the store to get all the many goodies available in Mega Jump. Buy in bulk to get the greatest bang for your buck!

- That’s not all – we’ve improved performance and memory usage on all devices!

Mega Jump Update 12 – Big Screen!

Mega Jump Update 12 has been submitted to Apple for approval! Sheldon the Turtle is our newest Mega Jump friend and he has joined us at your request through our Facebook poll. Sheldon’s bringing with him some exciting new features:

You can now play Mega Jump on your TV or iPad using another iOS device as a remote control. That’s right – Mega Jump is on the Big Screen! Connect your iPad or iPhone 4 using a TV out cable and use another iDevice to control the game from the comfort of your couch!

The Mega Jump User Interface has been greatly improved with easier navigation, prettier graphics and more info about your games. You can now also post your scores directly to Facebook and Twitter or email them to your friends right from the Game Over screen!

We’ve also added some major performance improvements to the entire game so everything should run better on all devices!
