Mega Jump Update

Mega Jump’s tenth update was just approved by Apple and it is now available for download on the App Store. Full text of the update log below:

Hey Mega Jumpers! Thanks again for making Mega Jump one of the most popular iPhone/iPod Touch games on Earth! Your support and feedback has meant the world to us. Now get ready for another huge update! Here’s what is new in Mega Jump Update 10:

The Unbelievable Upgradable Balloon!

  • The balloon has been converted to be upgradable in the store!
  • When you upgrade the Balloon, you will grow even bigger!
  • The Balloon will make you grow so big that you’ll get a sidekick that orbits you!
  • Upgrade the Balloon to the Mega Balloon to get as many as 6 orbiting sidekicks!

Get Free MP By Telling Your Friends!

  • Everyone now has their own Mega Code!
  • Give your Mega Code to a friend and if they enter into Mega Jump, both you and they get 500 MP – Free!
  • Give your Mega Code to as many people as you like!
  • Share your Mega Code on Facebook, Twitter and by Email!

    I’m having several problems since Update 10… The Umbrella power-up is crashing the game, mainly when it is over a large stash of coins (even if I have recently rebooted my iPod Touch (3G) to free up memory; There have been about 4 or 5 occasions when I have not received my free MP after completing the download task (download app, install, open); and finally, there is now a little popup that says “You Did It!” and asking me if I want to view a character or a wallpaper and forcing me to accept or deny. This popup is REALLY ANNOYING, it is not showing me anything I haven’t already seen because I have unlocked everything already. Please make this popup go away! Otherwise, this is still my favorite free game, it’s awesome and I really appreciate all the updates and extras, keep up the good work!! :)

    Yep same here. Umbrella power-up crashes the game usually over a large stash of coins.

    Hi Ciao. We’ve been getting reports of this from several people. Looks like this was an issue with some of the servers on our end. We have implemented a fix for this so you should be set to go now.

    The only thing to keep in mind is that downloads you have made previously will not be affected and you will not earn free mp from those downloads. You will need to make those downloads again to earn free mp from them. If the downloads you made we’re for non-free apps/games you can request a refund from Apple using the following steps…

    Ok i play this on my ipod and im addicted to it. i have the ipod that is the version before the newer one. and i they only way i can acces the stor is from the very first screen. if i try after i end a game or die, it crashes and now im even getting crashes before the game even starts. loads of random crashes for me. seems like alot but it keeps hapening to me and i keep waiting for an update. sooo many crashesssss. ughh
