I had the benefit of presenting at the Indie Game Showcase here in Toronto this past Saturday, September 18th. A one night showcase of some indie games made by developers here in Toronto as well as presentations by some of those developers. This event was part of the Hand Eye Society series of events. If you’re not familiar with the Hand Eye Society I highly encourage you to check out their website and find out what they’re all about.
In my presentation I covered a range of topics about the recent success we’ve had with Mega Jump and some of the steps about how we’ve been able to achieve that. At least one person asked me if the slides would be made available afterwards and indeed they will be. In fact here they are!
There were a few other presentations throughout the night by…
- Ryan Creighton of Untold Entertainment
- Alex Bethke/Nathon Gunn of Social Gaming Universe
- Michael Todd of Spyeart
A big thanks to Alex Bethke of Golden Gear Games for setting up the evening!
