Mega Jump “White Screen” Problem Fixed!

After Mega Jump Update 6 came out, we noticed a lot of feedback from players saying that the game would show a white screen when they first ran the game it displayed a white screen and wouldn’t let them play.

We’ve been working with our friends at OpenFeint on this issue and we have good news: it’s fixed! And you don’t even have to update the app to get the fix!

All you need to do is make sure the Mega Jump app is fully shut down and then restart it. You can do this by double-tapping your home button on your device. Then press and hold on the Mega Jump icon. When a red minus appears on the icon, click it.

That’s it! The next time you run Mega Jump you will be immersed in a world of awesomeness.

    i couldn’t get the game to get a red x over it so what setting should i put the double tap at “home”, “search”, or “ipod”,

    when i try to load up mega jump it brings it the the getset part for 5 sec and then back to the app screen would my problem be the same as the white screen?

    That is a new problem that we are working on fixing as we speak. We should have a fix out shortly. Sorry about that.

    Hi Damien, we plan to get an update submitted today and then it usually gets approved and released by Apple in less than 1 week.

    You might be able to help us out actually. Can you try powering your device off and on and running Mega Jump again? Let me know if this helps. Also, which device are you running it on (iPhone/iPod)?

    I have a 8gb iPod touch. I shutdown my iPod and I opened megajump up and the same thing happened. I also deleted (not fully because i dont know how) megajump and reinstalled it from the app store and the same thing happens.

    Do you know what version of the iOS software you’re running Damien? Is it 3.1.2 or 3.1.3 or maybe your running the latest iOS 4.0 or later? Let me know.

    I’m running 3.1.3 and am having the same problem. Mega Jump doesnt even open anymore.

    Hi Sam. Thanks for the feedback. We’ve identified a problem where people running pre iOS 4 have been experiencing this crash and corrected it. A new update has been submitted to Apple and we are expediting the review process. That update should be available to you over the next couple of days.     You should add abilities to the unlockable characters! Their descriptions already seem to allude to unique abilities… It would make unlocking them even more addicting :D

    Hi when i start a stage the screen becomes black and it goes out to the home screen if someone could tell me when or how it could be fixed ill be gratefull
